Keyword Density Checker
Analyze text to find the most frequent keywords and their density, instantly in your browser.
How to use the Keyword Density Checker
- Paste the article, page copy or other text to analyze.
- Set the minimum word length and how many top keywords to show.
- Tick Exclude common stop words to ignore words like the, and and is.
- Click Run to see each keyword with its count and density percentage.
How the Keyword Density Checker works
The text is lowercased and split into words. Words shorter than your minimum length, and stop words if you choose, are removed, and the remaining words are counted. Density is each word's count divided by the total number of words analyzed, times 100.
Search engines no longer reward hitting a particular density, and repeating a keyword unnaturally can hurt. Use the report to confirm a page is clearly about its topic, to spot accidental repetition, and to find related terms worth covering. Pair it with the Word Counter for overall length.
