How the Slug Generator works
The generator splits the text into words made of letters A to Z and digits, treating everything else (spaces, punctuation, symbols and existing camelCase boundaries) as a separator. It lowercases each word and joins them with single hyphens, so there are never double or trailing hyphens.
Accented and non-Latin letters are removed rather than transliterated, so convert them first (for example é to e) if you want to keep them. Short, descriptive slugs that include the main keyword help both readers and search engines understand a page.
